In general, the settings for these columns come from Elementor, so please first of all, check how it works with the default WordPress theme just to check whether the issue is from our theme of not.

Hi,

I have checked it with Storefront Theme and it shows same thing.
I don’t seem to be able to extend column background in this way so it cover to the edge a section background.
