Product Attributes & the Short Description

Hi,
I’m trying to reorganise how information in presented on a single product page. Is it possible to pull the information entered into the attributes fields in product data and publish it as part of the short product description? If thats’ not possible, can you replace the short product description with the information entered in the attributes field?
