    Hello,

I put in my menu something that I will remove the product categories, I ask myself the following question: the layout of the product categories. Indeed, I created layouts but when I click on the product category the layout and the original one is not the one I created. Thanks in advance,

    hello,

    Thanks a lot,

in fact I made these categories visible to better analyze them .. and what makes me go around in circles is this:

    – We create a category (so far so good)

    – We created a layout with product archives

    – We test include and exclude

    – There after about thirty tests, no results, I have to do with the elementor theme builder to get a result, I find it weird

I put exactly the same elements on Elementor as in the layout (include x)

    Hello,

You have created the template for child categories https://gyazo.com/56e596e07eef3d218e41b4c8bcff1154

I check a child and it meets to the template you have created categorie-produit/gouttiere-en-kit/gouttiere-aluminium-g300/

    Please clarify the problem.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

Precisely, by putting the child category, by doing this test, it was to see this child category appear instead of the other that I excluded.. Except by previewing, we see the excluded category!

As I told you about the elementor builder, when I exclude a category, we no longer see it… yet you have the same principle as the theme builder you act on woocommerce.

    Hello,

If you want to set the layout for a certain category, you need to select it. You have set all the categories in the conditions.

If the problem remains please configure one certain category in layout and make the screen of the layout and screen of this category.

    Best Regards

    Good evening,

Indeed, it’s the same principle as the elementor theme builder, I thought the layout put a different way, after different tests I found

    – Layout > Product categories > category to put forward

As a result, I was able to select the chosen category, you have to do some tests to understand it, it’s not very complicated, just you have to know it.

    Thanks for your feedback Elise,

    Hello,

In fact, on the documentation, it should just indicate the different alternatives and be able to see the scenarios but with tests we get there. The best area for improvement after testing would be without loading with a plugin; sorting by product category, <ul class=”” >
    <li class=”” a href=”https: … (link to category )>Home
    <li class=”” a href=”https: … (link to category) >Contact
    <li class=”” a href=”https: … (link to category) >Services

With code we can do it, but too bad that in native there is no possibility, and take a plugin just for that, to load the site, no thanks.

    Hello,

We cannot promise we will be able to improve it the way you describe, at the same time our developers would work in Woocommerce builder.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
