    Hello,

I would like to show product categories on shop pages in the similar “boxes” style as is shown in the attached image. By default, WoodMart theme doesn’t have an option for such style. Could you give me suggestion, how to achieve similar result?

A few days ago someone asked on this forum the same question: topic
    …and got this answer:

These categories: https://gyazo.com/f6baef222b1c292531a55e7d3d1924a7 are disabled by means of the WoodMart Product Categories widget, please enter the widget and remove image size inside so that image got full width in this case the design was chosen here CATEGORIES-STYLES.png would be applied.

Could I ask you where is “WoodMart Product Categories widget” located? I couldn’t find it to try it by myself.

    Thanks in advance,
    Best Regards

    Hello,

You need to create an HTML block: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/html-blocks-2/

Create the grid using rows and columns and insert Info box in each and link manually.

Then you need to do the following:

    1. Enable Top filters in the Theme Settings >Product archives > Shop filters https://gyazo.com/3564df2a5d658a0010b6c0ebd0b537d4

    2. Enable Shop filters area always opened

    3. Shop filters content type should be set Custom content

    4. You can choose the HTML block with the content from the Shop filters custom content drop-down.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

Thank you, it’s working. But it’s global, for every category. Is it possible to make it unique per category / shop page? There are many product categories and they consist of other sub-categories. Let’s say Category-A has sub categories Sub-Category-A1, Sub-Category-A2,… and the same is for Category-B and so on. But when I followed your steps it shows the same sub categories for every category /shop page. I would need to make it unique for every category / shop page, as it’s common on other eshops.

Also I would like to ask you, can I change position of product filters to place below the category selection? Please see the attached image.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

Yes, this is possible by means of Theme Settings presets https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/theme-settings-presets/

You follow all the steps once and then select different HTML blocks for different categories.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
