tchubbParticipantI have 2 questions but I think they are related.
1. The product description is displaying in a way that looks like there is no spacing after commas. ( i will send you an example in the private section) Is there a waay to fix this?
2. I like the way that the descriptions looked in the sweet bakery theme which I used on a different site, the description text looks bigger and it looked cleaner, is there a way to change all of my descriptions to match that font? (I think doing so may also help the comma spacing issue?)

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
The font in the product description is configured in the Theme Settings > Typography > Body text. The gaps and comas are the content you insert. Please provide the screen with the problem.
In addition, you can change the font by means of Advanced typography option, which allows to choose the item from a drop-down or insert your custom CSS class. Please navigate to the Theme Settings > Typography > Advanced Typography.
Here is the documentation providing more detailed instructions: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/advanced-typography-settings/

tchubbParticipantThank you i was able to change the font but we are still having an issue where it looks like there is no spacing in the product description. I will put a link in the private box to a typical product that you can view.
Note if we put 2 spaces after the comma in the description it looks regular, but we don’t want to have to go through and do that to all listings for various reasons.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,

tchubbParticipantI attached a screenshot but one of the issues maybe that the font I choose is s till showing everything so tightly spaced. I would like it to look like the sweet bakery theme, I have that on another license but when I tried to copy the settings and tried to select jost font it does not have that font as an option?
How can I add it in to see if selecting the same fonts and settings as the sweet bakery will fix the issue?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Do you want to make the font bigger and space between the letters wider? You can configure the same settings as you run in your second site in the Theme Settings > Typography.
Best Regards

tchubbParticipantyes i want to make font bigger ans space wider but i can’t figure out the same settings as the bakery template because i cannot add the jost font.
Please let me know how to do that or if you can think of another way to achieve my end result.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please navigate to the Theme Settings > Typography and configure this font family and size for the body text:

Elise NoromitMemberHello,

tchubbParticipantThanks, but in the link you sent m,e there are 18 stles, which one was used in the sweet bakery demo? Also if i just import that theme into my site then maybe that is easier? Will i lose any settings or have to make any other changes? I know the homepage will be different but I can change that easily.
Thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Do not upload the demo without a backup, otherwise, you will lose all your settings.
I have uploaded this demo on my testing site and I will give you screens so that you could know which ones to take: https://prnt.sc/sc63m9

tchubbParticipantThank you for the screen shots but I am s till confused because when I go to the cufonts site that you linked to, and I look for example jost semi-bold i do not see that. I see jost bold but not semi-bold and semi-bold was one of the fonts you linnked to in your images?
Is it possible to just send me the files here since they are on the theme of the sweet bakery and that way we can avoid the confusion.
Thanks

tchubbParticipantThank you for this, as i didn’t make any customizations yet for the theme I just imported the theme of sweet bakery into the site and now I have the same font settings, however the descriptions don’t look nearly the same, they are not large and spaced out like the ones in the sweet bakery demo I made before, I will send you a screen shot so you can see.
The sweet bakery version on the previous site i made is taken with the screenshot capture.png and the other file shows you the one I don’t like, as you can see the header and the text description is much larger on the one I like and I am not sure how to make my current descriptions look like that. I have now imported the same theme and don’t know what to do?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please deactivate the plugins not related to the theme and check the fonts.
Best Regards
May 9, 2020 at 2:27 pm #193681
tchubbParticipantThank you, I deactivated all plugins except for one, which is necessary for us because it adds extra product fields. How can I tell if this is the one that is making the problem. And if it is making the problem is there any solution you can think of?
Basically I need this plugin, and if this plugin is causing the problem then I need to figure out a different solution so I can keep the plugin and have the text show up the way i would like.
May 10, 2020 at 3:58 pm #193864
tchubbParticipantAny thoughts on this?
May 10, 2020 at 10:06 pm #193911
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please deactivate all to detect the source of the problem. I have uploaded the demo on my site to give you files and it works correctly.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please check now the issue has been fixed.
Best Regards
May 11, 2020 at 11:51 pm #194188
tchubbParticipantThanks but it looks like the plugins are not dactivated and the issue is fixed, so was it some other problem or was it a plugin problem?
I noticed one of our custom codes is not working (code to make lightbox popup default)
but this code is also on our other site too and that font description is working well.May 12, 2020 at 7:23 am #194243
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
The issue was fixed after saving the Theme Settings, we did not touch the code, perhaps you could disabling on the stage of checking.
Best Regards
May 12, 2020 at 3:00 pm #194404
tchubbParticipantThank you but I am a little confused, when you say we had to save the theme settings, does that mean that we imported the theme but somehow had to save it in order for the font change to take place?
If not then I am still not sure what action was taken in order to affect the font change.
I am asking because I would like to buy a license for a new site and I will come across thi ssue so would like to understand.
Thanks

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please install the theme and configure it on net WordPress. If you see problems with the fonts or icons, contact us. We shall check. Perhaps it is the specific feature of the server. As soon as you configure your theme in full, install the plugins one by one and check how the site works.
Best Regards

tchubbParticipantI am confused by the answer, you wrote:

What did you mean by “saving the theme settings”
Is that something that I did not do? and if I didn’t do how do i do it?
May 14, 2020 at 8:39 am #194874
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You do not need to do anything special. Now it works. As for the next site you will upload the proper demo and it would work as well. If any problems, just contact us.
Best Regards
