IceahParticipantHello,
We have a database of products with registered brands, models, start date and end date. These appear as attributes on our products, as well as in the theme filters.
However, when we search using a single attribute, brand for example, no product comes up in the search. I also have another question about filters. For dates, for example, is it possible to select an operator such as “greater than or equal to” for the date of manufacture instead of a strictly equal value?
Thank you very much!February 13, 2024 at 4:54 pm #539594
Hung PhamKeymasterHi Iceah,
Thanks for reaching to us and appreciate your patience.
Could you please record a short video that demonstrates the problem?

IceahParticipantHello,
Thanks for your message. I join a video of the problem.
And for the date, for this product for example, the minimum date is 2022, so in the filter I would need that if I choose 2020 for example, the filter also returns this product. Hence the need for an option greater than or equal to, and for the max date, less than or equal to.February 17, 2024 at 6:43 pm #541036

If you face this kind of issue again then try to go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and click on
Regenerate the product attributes lookup table
https://take.ms/LGpvfIn addition, please check Woocommerce > Settings > Product tab > Advanced tab and disable
Use the product attributes lookup table for catalog filtering
checkbox.Regards,

IceahParticipantPerfect, thank you very much. It works perfectly for the make and model. Regarding the date, is it possible to do this via the theme too?

Hung PhamKeymasterHi Iceah,
Glad to hear your issue has been resolved. If it is a variable, you can do with the same steps above.

IceahParticipantNot really, no. The date is an attribute, but when searching for products for a make and model, depending on the year, the model’s products may change and not be the same. That’s why I need to be able to search by make and model, but also, for example, for all models above a certain date.
The filter currently searches for an exact match, but the date is a year and therefore a number. Is it possible to do a search that is not equal but greater than or equal to?February 20, 2024 at 3:51 pm #541804
Hung PhamKeymasterHi Iceah,
Unfortunately, there is no such a setting in the Attribute settings.
