products disappearing from /shop/ and brand pages

    Good afternoon Woodmart Support,

    There is an issue on our website, that we would require assistance with.

    Approximately 10 days ago, the shop page https://www.coreworkwear.co.uk/shop/ and individual brand pages (e.g. https://www.coreworkwear.co.uk/shop/?filter_brand=result) suddenly became empty with no products showing.

    Please note that the products are still all on the website and individually showing correctly when searched.

    Additionally, the “filter by price” filter also disappeared from the shop page and the individual brand pages, but remained present on category pages.

    This issue is detrimental to our website as it is an e-commerce site and heavily relies on this pages getting valuable traffic.

    We have taken all measures on our side such as theme and plugin updates and patches, but it does not seem to be resolved.

    The issue is intermittent, it would appear that trying to edit the /shop page in elementor or deactivating and deactivating plugins restores the content of the /shop page, but without consistency or seemingly any pattern.

    Furthermore, it happens again without any direct action being taken on the website to cause it.

    We would appreciate it if you could point us in the direction of the root cause of this problem so that it could be resolved permanently.

    Additionally, we would need to know how to deactivate auto updates, as updating the license to get extended support caused them to get activated. We cannot see an option to turn them off without adding code snippets, which we would not want to do.

    Thanks for details.

    Please resave permalinks via Settings > Permalinks and double check.

    The theme is not updated automatically. When the new release is launched, you get the notification and the theme would be updated as soon as you press Update in Appearance > Themes > WoodMart.

    You cannot edit the WooCommerce pages directly with any page builders.

    – You can go to Dashboard > Theme Settings > Product archive and there you can find options related to WooCommerce pages.

    – You are also can use Custom WooCommerce Builder to rebuild WooCommerce pages, please refer to documentation https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/

    Hello Hung,

    The issue is still ongoing and it does not appear to be resolved.

    Please note that the shop and brands pages appear to empty every single day in the morning.

    We implement the permalink saving fix and the shop and brand pages populate themselves again for the rest of the day, but by 8am GMT the following morning, the issue presents itself again.

    Please can you check what is causing this in greater detail, particularly considering if there is something resetting or updating at night that might be causing it?

    Hi mark-5387,

    It’s strange, WoodMart does not have such an option or functionality.

    You should deactivate all plugins (except Required Plugins) and then reactivate them one by one. This makes it very easy to isolate the plugin causing problems.
