"Products (grid or carousel" element

Hi,

I am using this with WCFM.
When Related Products is enabled in theme settings the related products which display are all products from the same vendor. This is great, but I cannot control the display style, it is different to all the preset styles when using “Products (grid or carousel)” element.

So I wanted to remove Related Products create a prefooter in the same style as Related Products which uses Products (grid or carousel) element, I have created the prefooter and it works but it displays all vendors products across the marketplace instead of just the products for the vendor who added the product page we are on.

The Product Grid element has the option to detect the products by category, tags, perhaps you can assign the vendor tags to the products and then show them as you need.

Thanks, but Related Products option only shows from the same vendor, so there must be a mechanism which already exists in woodmart to do this?

Hi Luke, thanks for your response, although this is extremely easy to replicate in your own environment.

Steps to take to replicate on an environment with WCFM installed:

1 – enable Related Products in Xtemos settings, you will notice only shows products from same vendor
2 – create a “Products (grid or carousel)” element in a HTML block and add it as a prefooter to single product pages. You will see there is no way for it to behave like the Related Products option.

The “Related Products” option works only with categories and tags.

Unfortunately, the “Products (grid or carousel)” element can’t behave like the “Related Products” option.
