Products in Cart disappear

I have customers reaching out to me stating that they add products to their cart and then when they go to a different category to add more products, the others already added disappear.
Please advise.

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?
