Actually, the MailChimp is worldwide famous for the Newsletter integration so that’s why its Plugin comes pre-packaged with the Theme. If you want to use any other, then you can use it.
Regarding the Customer Service Emails concern, the thing is Account Registration is handled by WooCommerce. So, it would be better if you ask WooCommerce Support regarding this. They will guide you through. Also, the Orders are handled by WooCommerce.
