Recent theme license purchase

Hello:
We have a client who has a website made with the Woodmart theme. Since we did not have access to the purchase code, because the website was made by someone else, we have purchased the theme again to have support.
Should I delete the current license on the website to introduce the new one in Woodmart / Theme License? Will there be any problem with the website that is already built?

Thank you for purchasing our theme. Yes, you are free to deactivate the previous license and activate the theme with the new purchase code. Your website content and configuration will not be affected.
