Recommendation about main page banner

Hello, today I start changing the banner on the main page and ran into a problem. I don’t know what size is needed for the banner. If I want the full support of adaptive (what would he look the same on mobile, tablet and desktop), so what size I need? Maybe I need a few images?

And the second question is: I need on the main page only one picture, I don’t need the slider, how can I install only one picture?

Banner size depends on the image size. So if you will upload 500×380 image the banner will take its size. And if your image will not fit the container so it will be scaled down on smaller devices and banner will do the same.

You can use Single image element instead of the slider to display one image only.
