Redux Framework

Hi,

I receive a message to update Redux Framework. Can I update it? Do I need to backup anything?

My theme version os not updated. The plugin you recommended to use to update is not working anymore.

I have some questions about updates:

1) How can I update theme and do not lose any change I did? Like CSS, translations, etc…

2) Can I update Redux Framework? This update is related with theme version?

3) Before update Redux Framework, do I need to sabe anything?

Hello,

1. To update the theme you need download the latest version on ThemeForest -> Downloads. Then just reupload new theme via Appearance -> Themes but install this plugin firstly https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/
Also, we suggest you make a backup of all your files before any update.

2 & 3. You can update the Redux Framework plugin without any worries.

If I’m using Basel child, will I lose any theme config like colors, css, JS, translations (at loco) etc?

No, you don’t need to do anything with your child and their files will not be loosed.
