mrcosmetics12ParticipantI have read several posts on the subject about this matter and you always referred to the WooCommerce page but there is no real solution there. Related products do not show correctly on the product page. My expectation in the parent category is to show products related to each other and it always shows related products from the main category. What can be done?

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Related Products is a section on some templates that pulls products from your store that share the same tags or categories as the current product.
These products cannot be specified in the admin, but can be influenced by grouping similar products in the same category or by using the same tags.
Please read about related products here – https://woocommerce.com/document/related-products-up-sells-and-cross-sells/
If you want to customize it follow this guide:

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Try to use the Theme’s Layout Builder to create Custom Layouts for the Single Product page > and in that Layout you can add the product grid or carousel widget in the bottom of the layout and choose the data source “Related Product” and choose the list of product categories.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand whether it is our theme issue?
Best Regards.
