Removing Categories from Banner image and placed as a side drop menu?

1) CAN ALL THESE CATEGORIES BE MOVED TO A SIDE CATEGORY DROP DOWN MENU while still keeping the banner images as it is so crowded? I would like to do this on all the main categories?

You can keep banners with images without categories. This option is provided in the Theme Settings > Product archive > Page title.

At the same time, you can show the Product category mega menu in the sidebar of the shop page or in the header. https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/product-category-menu/
