Rename "My Account"-Menu Title

Hello,

I would like to rename via functions.php the Menu-Title “My-Account” to “XXX” for loggedin users. And instead of “LOGIN/REGISTER” I would like to write “ZZZ” for loggedout users. I didn’t find any solution by myself. I hope you can help me out.

You can translate/rewrite all theme and plugin texts via PO file in WordPress. Here is a video tutorial that should help you translate your website texts with a Loco Translate plugin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3NsDdMzsls&list=PLMw6W4rAaOgKKv0oexGHzpWBg1imvrval&index=3

Please check the video tutorial to see how to save the translation file correctly. You can remove the plugin and translations would remain. Also, translations would remain after each theme update.

Thank you, it worked out.
So I tried to select the child theme in the plugin but than I couldnt select any Source Text, so I selected the regular woodmart theme. But is it now safe for updates? The path is: themes/woodmart/languages/de_DE.po

You need to translate the patent theme. Delete the translation for the child theme and create it for the parent.
