Renaming the term 'product categories'

How would I name the formal ‘product categories’ to a custom name rather than just “categories”. As the title is shown in widgets etc…

You can rewrite the widget title as you like. Please navigate to the Appearance > Widgets > Find Shop page widget area > find this widget and just rewrite its title.

Thank you for the information – I think this doesnt cover the full extent of the purpose.

On the homepage on mobile, I have a category selector drop down – I would like to change the terminology to be more relative to the product range.
