    Hello,

    I have an existing WooCommerce website using WoodMart and WPBakery. The website was originally created using one of the WoodMart prebuilt/demo websites, but since then it has been heavily customized.

    We now want to redesign the website using another WoodMart Prebuilt Website, specifically the Vegetables Theme.

    Our main requirement is to keep all existing website data and content intact, including:

    * WooCommerce products and product categories
    * Product attributes, variations, prices, stock and images
    * Existing pages
    * Existing customized Home page
    * Customers and orders
    * Any other custom content we have created

    We created a full staging clone of the production website and tested importing the Vegetables prebuilt website.
    When starting the import, WoodMart displayed the warning:

    “WARNING! To import this demo version you need to remove all the previously imported content with all pages, products, and images.”

    We proceeded with the test only on staging, and we found that the importer removed our existing Home page and some other pages because they were apparently still considered content originating from the previous WoodMart theme, even though those pages had been significantly modified by us afterward.

    Therefore, a normal Full Prebuilt Website Import does not appear to be safe for our use case.

    What we would ideally like to do is import/apply the Vegetables design — Home page structure, header, theme settings, layouts/styles, etc. — while preserving 100% of our existing WooCommerce data and existing pages/content.

    Could you please advise us on the officially recommended WoodMart procedure for this?

    In particular:

    1. Is there a way to perform a partial import of the Vegetables prebuilt website, including its Home page and design/settings, without running the “Remove previously imported content” process?
    2. Can we prevent the importer from deleting previously imported pages that have since been customized?
    3. Is there a recommended way to import the Vegetables Home page, Header, Theme Settings and Layouts individually?
    4. Is there any WoodMart-specific import/export functionality that would make this process safer?

    Our priority is not to modify or delete any existing WooCommerce products, categories, orders, customers or customized pages. We have a staging environment available, so we can safely test any procedure you recommend before applying anything to production.

    Thank you in advance for your guidance.

    Best regards,
    Eris

    Hello,

    You can use the Partial Import feature to import individual components of the Vegetables prebuilt website without running the full demo import.

    Please navigate to WoodMart > Prebuilt websites > Vegetables > Partial. From there, you can import the following individually:

    – Home page: Import the homepage as a new page, then assign it as your site’s homepage. The existing page will not be overwritten.

    – Theme Settings: Import the demo’s global settings only if you want to replace your current global design settings. Alternatively, enable the Preset option when importing the page to apply the demo’s design settings specifically to that page.

    This approach avoids the full import process that removes previously imported demo content. However, please test each component on staging first, especially layouts and global settings, to ensure they do not affect your existing design.

    Best Regards
