    Hello,

I’m optimizing my site, noticing the following in one of the optimizations:

WP-BAKARY CSS is extremely large. In this case, I have followed most of your recommendations and even removed/disabled the js-composer css, but I still see this file.

Can you guide me if it is safe to remove it – I mainly use your features and options? Or where must it be added – for which page similarly for the other two JS options?

    Additional question:

Any idea if this is loading from your country/theme:

    select2
    https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/select2@4.1.0-beta.1/dist/js/select2.min.js
    Depends on: jquery

    Hello,

You can reduce the WPBakery CSS file size in Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Tools -> WPBakery CSS generator. There you can select which elements you use and generate a new CSS file https://gyazo.com/b8120c63f97f239e830de242d0f77067

Select2 JS file is most likely related to WooCommerce or other plugins installed on your website. Our theme doesn’t require this file.

    Kind Regards

    Hi thank you,

    WPBakery CSS generator.
But If it doesn’t use any of these options, will it still help me downsize?

If you don’t use any of the elements, then you can uncheck all options, and this will reduce the file size a lot.

But is it good to generate the CSS?

Our question is based on the following information:
“WPBakery CSS file is huge and due to the fact that we are not using 99% them on our demo versions we suggest you to generate a CSS file without them. Check all elements and see which ones you are using and which not. It may decrease your page size by 200-400 KB.”

Yes, by generating a custom file, you can reduce your page’s CSS files.
