Searching from product search box showing shop with pagination and not infinit

When searching from product search box either at top of our webiste or the sidebar product search box, the products are showing but with pagination and not infinit scrolling. We have infinit scrolling set in the theme settings, shop> products grid. Is there any way to change the page options when a search result is returned so that it matches our other pages please?

No, unfortunately, the search results page is not subject to our theme settings and infinite scrolling is not applied there.
