Please describe your steps in more detail: what you do and what you get?

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue.

This is not an issue! 🙂 It is a functionality that I want to accomplish.

The process is this:
I want to select a product attribute term from the sidebar.
When I click on a different product category, again from sidebar, I would like that selected product attribute term to stay active even if clicking on different categories.

Please check the functionality of the Storefront theme. You see Product categories, attributes are the Woocommerce functionality. Our theme has added a visuall effects to the filter widgets, at the same time it is the exact copy of the Woocommerce widget and we cannot change the way it works.

If you need this change you need to find a plugin or customize Woocommerce. I do not think the plugin exists.
