notificheParticipantHello there, I have an issue about product archive sidebars.
I have set the same sidebar for all woocommerce archive, which has a filtering widget (fibo).
I have deactivated all categories side menu and woodmart widget. The sidebar works allright in every archive, like category, full shop,…
I have then created a page with woocommerce shortcode [sale_products] to show only on sale products.
I have created the same page also with elementor PRO with the product grid filtering on sale products. On both pages sidebar is shown, but it is empty, and the situation is worse on mobile, where the filters are not displayed, but there is the woodmart widget to open the side sidebar
I attach screen of both the pages I have linked in private, to see how it is and how it should be, renamed after the url link

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I suggest you use the Layouts builder for the Archive pages – https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/
https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/custom-off-canvas-sidebar/
Kind Regards

notificheParticipantI have already found this answer in another discussion, and I was going for it.
Problem is that I don’t want the layout to be applied on all archive pages, but only on that one, and I am not very fond of restarting from start.
Isn’t it another workaround, as this problem is affecting only one page?February 20, 2025 at 8:48 pm #639751
notificheParticipantAdditional problem is that the page with sale product is not an archive, as it has to be builded on purpose.
In fact, on sale products can only be filtered through a product grid widget (elementor or woodmart), as they are not built by a taxonomy or so.
So the archive page layout does’n apply on that page, it only applies on category pages or other general archivesFebruary 21, 2025 at 12:14 pm #639877

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
The thing is that filters that are related to WooCommerce (filter by prod. categories, price filter, etc.) cannot work on simple pages. If you define the widget e.g Gallery – https://prnt.sc/YDt7yUGQdgV2 you will see that it appear.
So If you want to create a custom page for the Shop archive and use the filters that are related to the Shop page, use our Layouts builder – https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/
Kind Regards

notificheParticipantHello there,
I have tried to setup a layout page for all archives and include the sidebar directly in the layout.
If I put the filters sidebar this isn’t loaded never, and again, as mentioned before, the Sale product is not an archive page, as woocommerce doesn’t expect such page as archiveFebruary 24, 2025 at 1:18 pm #640426
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Please check how it works on the default theme with the default elements from Elementor. So we will know whether the issue is with our theme or it’s related to WooCommerce.
I await your response.
Kind Regards
