    Hello,

I am trying to find an example of how I am trying to get my shop page to look. I was able to make it display once on a different website when I had my license active on the domain. I would like to know how to have the shop display the filters on the left hand side of the page. Probably in a sidebar.

I have tried many times to do this on BruteSuits.com. I kinda gave up on it awhile ago. I tried to replicate it again on DebbieTol.com but could only get the filters to appear on the top of the page not the side again.

Also, I do not understand widgets and I think I may have accidentally deleted some of them. I am much better using html block or I may need to know how to add the filters widget back .

I found this instructional page on your website about the shop filters. I tried this but I have zero experience with WP Bakery. I mostly use Elementor. I have uploaded screen shots of how it is displayed on your website instrcutions and then how it looks from my end.

I do not see where I can make edits to the item categories being filtered.

I would also like the filters to be on the left and not on top. I was able to make this happen one time bt I do not remember all the settings that took place to make it happen.

This is how it looks on your instructions page

This is how it looks in my admin section

The overall goal is to have a shop page that looks like this with the filters on the left

This is what I am trying to achieve

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay. I was working on some other things. But, I would appreciate it if someone could look at my shop settings and get the filters to display on the left. I could not figure it out.

You guys are always fast to reply. I deactivated the All In Wonder plugin again. Login information is below in the private section. I deactivated every theme builder template that I could even think that might be overriding this. I did not see anything.

    Hung,

I know what you are referring to. I have gone to the widget area. I have read this instructions on one of the other support pages. I just cannot get this to work. I do not understand how to edit widgets. I don’t know how else to say this but it should not be that difficult for me to figure out.

I will gladly take screen shots as I go through trying to configure the widget settings. I have one questio first. I may have altered, edited, changed the capabilities of the filters widget. I have tried this before and I remember I hit “Save” and things seemed to have changed.

Is there a way to delete the widget and then reinstall a default one?

    Hi Eric,

Sorry but your question seems a bit unclear to me.

You can use WoodMart WooCommerce Layered Nav widget to filter products by attributes or default filter widgets to filter products by Ratings or Price.

Is there any chance I could have deleted something in the widget for the filter not to be working the way I would like it to be displayed.

As an example, lets say I was trying to create a variation for a product color of red. But I deleted the color attribute by mistake and did not realize what the problem was?

I want to start all over on this so I can either delete the Shop page and have WooCommerce install a new default page or I can make one and use the Woocommerce short code. I think I messed something up in this whole process to begin with:

So, starting from scratch, how would be the best way to have a new shop page, and maybe deleting and then reinstalling the WoodMart WooCommerce Layered Nav widget ?

    Happy New Year!

Here is the error message in the widgets are.

The “nav_menu” block was affected by errors and may not function properly. Check the developer tools for more details.

    Hi Eric,

Please install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-widgets/ then you will see widgets.

    Hi,

It’s me again. I think we are getting close to solving this. I just sstumbled onto something that I did not notice before. I installed the classic widgets theme but could not activate it without disabling Elementor or WP Bakery. So I disabled WP Bakery. I still could not find the Layered Nav Widget. It was there earlier but it disappeared. I forgot about WP Bakery being disabled so I reactived it, and the Layered Nav Widget showed up.

Now I keep going around in circles because the shop page is now saying that it is missiing a default content area. I add it and save it but then then meaasge never goes away. I am not sure if someone one your team was able to atleast get the shop filter to display on the left now. So that part is working. But there are only 2 filters available, price and gender.

    Hi Eric,

    1. I am still seeing WoodMart WooCommerce Layered Nav widgets https://prnt.sc/wfS-QmoO79xZ https://prnt.sc/79hTOyAV6Caj

Please try to add to Shop page area to display filters.

    2. I would like to inform you that the Shop page is an Archive page, and it cannot be directly edited with any page builder. However, WoodMart offers the functionality to create your own custom shop page with Layout builder (Screenshot https://prnt.sc/MGD8OIK9EETv). More about Layout builder can be found in our documentation https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/.
