Show intro on blog carousel

Hi,
I want to show the first few sentences on my blog overview. Just like the example you give here: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/blog/category/design-trends/
But when I try it, it just shows ALL the text and the read more button is not showed. Can you help me? Thanks in advance.

There is the option to show the excerpt. By default, This option would show the part of the first paragraph from your blog post. If you add except to each blog post this text would be shown. https://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/excerpt/

You can configure the Blog page in the Theme Settings > Blog or Theme Settings > Single post.
