liveranganParticipantHow to add size selection option? I want customer can select the size of dress (S-M-L-XL-XXL) while ordering any product.
June 16, 2026 at 9:59 am #721672Hello,
To add size selection options such as S, M, L, XL, XXL, you need to create a Variable Product and add a Size attribute.
Navigate to Products > Attributes and create a Size attribute with values such as:
S | M | L | XL | XXLThen navigate to Products > Edit Product > In the Product data section, change the product type from Simple Product to Variable Product, add the attributes, and use it for variations.
For more about variable products, follow this guide:

The “Edit Attribute” page you are currently seeing is only for the attribute itself.
To enable swatches, you need to go one step deeper:
Please go to Products > Attributes, then look for your “Size” attribute and click on “Configure Terms” (this is the button next to the attribute, not inside Edit Attribute).
https://postimg.cc/TyxjmJcYInside Configure Terms, you will see each size value (S, M, L, XL, XXL). When you edit each term there, you will get the option to set it as a Text Swatch.
