olgaonline2020ParticipantHi,
I am using slider elements in WP Bakery.
In Slides > All Items > New Item > I don’t have any elements from WP Bakery and leave only a featured image. How can I add a product’s URL for the featured image (slider image) within the slider’s item page?
The link should be clickable throughout the complete area of the woodmart-slide-container to a product corresponding to the image.I don’t want to use a button.
Thanks!

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Unfortunately, there is no option in the WoodMart slider slide to add a link to the featured image.
It requires customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
The only way to add a link by using a button in the slide.
Best Regards.

olgaonline2020ParticipantHello,
I will fix with custom CSS. Thanks.
I have a huge loading time issue on the home page where I have placed 3 slider elements with WP bakery. Sliders take to long to load. I have placed 3 same sliders.Could you please provide support for this? Maybe I could optimise the sliders somehow?
Thank you!

olgaonline2020ParticipantI just checked it has nothing to do with the sliders.
The home page is heavy without having added many elements.
Could you please provide support for this? Could provide a hint on optimising it?
Thank you!

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
In general, our theme is already optimized and doesn’t have too many resources to make your website slow. Most likely, your website performance suffers from the content you have added to your website. It may happen in case of too many plugins, large not optimized images or other resources. So we suggest you to remove unnecessary plugins, install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like Better WordPress Minify and a caching plugin like WP Super Cache.
Also, you can use GTmetrix tool to see what makes your website slow and optimize these parts of your website.
Best Regards.

olgaonline2020ParticipantHi,
I receive notice : I/O usage resources were limited for your site (limit 4MB/s).
Please check Private Content.
May 8, 2020 at 9:03 am #193378
olgaonline2020ParticipantI have not addded content to the site. Only few icons and two background patterns.

Artem TemosKeymasterYou can set PHP 7.3 version as an optimal one. From your debug log we don’t see any errors or notices related to our theme. And the access log says nothing except your website requests. But it doesn’t contain any information about factors that may make your website slow.

olgaonline2020ParticipantHi,
Would PHP version 7.3.17 provide that optimal performance?
What is this regarding Revolution slider?
I have deactivated Revolution Slider and probably will delete since it difficult to update with new content. Would deletion of Revolution Slider fix that error?Do you think that I/O usage limit of 4MB/s for resources is enough?
Thanks!
May 8, 2020 at 11:04 am #193414
Artem TemosKeymasterYes, PHP 7.3 would be enough.
If you will remove the slider then you will fix that notice. But this notice doesn’t harm your website performance at all. It will be fixed in the update.

olgaonline2020ParticipantOk, regarding PHP version and fix.
1) Could you please check the elements I have used for my home page and its loading time? I am still having issues with loading. I am developing the eshop in Chrome at which I am logged in to WP. When I load the home page on Firefox where I am not loggedin to WP, home page loads fast.
I have provided WP login details.2) Above the prefooter I am having a padding / margin gap which I cannot find out its source. I have not added any custom CSS that may have create it. Please see screenshot.
Thank you.

Artem TemosKeymaster1. All our theme elements are tested and already well optimized. You can try to remove them one by one to see if some of them influence the speed.
2. Try to add margin bottom -40px for the last row on your page if you want to remove that gap.

olgaonline2020ParticipantHome page loads very fast on Firefox and very slow on Chrome.
Please provide support fo this. It has to do with Woodmart theme.
Waiting for your response,
Thank you.May 9, 2020 at 6:38 am #193595
Artem TemosKeymasterPlease, check your website with GTmetrix and perform all the optimizations steps from its report as we advised you in our earlier reply. Currently, we don’t see any issues directly related to our theme.

olgaonline2020ParticipantHello,
I have noticed the following:
WP Bakery elements ‘AJAX Products tabs‘ to Home Page make home page load very very slow in Chrome !
Strangely, same home page with same ‘AJAX Products tabs’ elements load very fast in Firefox!
When I remove ‘AJAX Products tabs‘ elements from home page, loading of home page in chrome gets as fast as in Firefox.
Why am I having such a huge difference in loading between Chrome and Firefox for same Home page?
Does it have to do with PHP version?
Both GT metrix tests for Chrome and Firefox, advise to defer parsing of Javascript, but loading time is different! :/
Should ‘AJAX Products tabs‘ element be optimized further for Chrome?Thank you
May 11, 2020 at 5:41 am #193968
Artem TemosKeymasterWe checked your website speed and it is almost the same in Chrome and in Firefox. Be sure that you have optimized everything as Gtmetrix advises.
