JeanneMeierParticipantI need to ask another question. Can you please tell me how to make the menus fly out and get the slider images to show back up? I haven’t altered either, and in the backend it looks like everything should be fine, but they are not working.
Again, thank you for your help!

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
All the menu fly-out blocks are created in Dashboard > HTML and then assigned to each menu item. Please read and follow the instruction: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/create-menu-2/

JeanneMeierParticipantI’m sorry to kind of change things on you, but I am really having some problems. I don’t want to bombard you with help tickets, and this is related to the menu/HTML block problem that I am having, so I am posting here.
I think I am getting the menu issues sorted out. Turns out my problem was leaving the “design” field set to custom. When it’s like that, the field for the HTML block is hidden.
Anyway, aside from my oversight above, the other big issue I see is with WPBakery. From the first time I tried to use the front end editor (& other WPBakery links) I have been getting a white screen. I mistakenly thought that maybe I had to purchase the add on, and so I did. The problem still exists, but not only that, I am not getting much support at all. Adding to the issue, they’re telling me if I deactivate the paid version, my free version will not work until the theme is updated. I don’t understand any of it, but this add on seems to be vital to this theme, especially when I do not know the code to go in and manually edit everything. I need the frontend editor. I know my primary issue is with them, but I am hoping you can offer some insight, because I think this needs to be fixed for me to be able to continue using your theme.
I am using the most current WordPress, with an updated database.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and provide the site admin access to the private area. If you cannot deactivate the plugins, confirm the permit to deactivate plugins for the while of checking what may take 10-15min. Please do not purchase any more plugins. Try to request a refund, say you have purchased by mistake. We do have all. We have updated versions of the plugins regardless of the theme update. You can always get the fresh version WP bakery plugin. You do not need to wait for the theme update, just enter your profile on this forum and get it.
Best Regards

JeanneMeierParticipantI will try that with the add ons. I’m thinking you’re wanting to try a process of elimination to see if there’s a plug in that isn’t playing nice? I’m not able to do that right this minute, but will try to do so this evening or tomorrow. In the meantime, if you want to see it, I have posted the admin details in the private area.
Unless it will cause issues with other things, activating or deactivating plug ins won’t affect anything. My WordPress installation is on an add-on domain to my site, and it’s still being worked on. So we don’t have to worry about customers being on-site. The only thing that I want to preserve is the product data, categories and designer apps (Lumise and NB Designer). I can deactivate those plug ins without losing the data though.
I will definitely continue asking that they refund my purchase, but I do have concerns about what they said about the free version not working if I deactivate the purchased version.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please make the full-backup of your site, and deactivate all the plugins except these:
Slider Revolution
WPBakery Page Builder
Woodmart Core
Contact Form 7
MailChimp for WordPress
WooCommerce
Safe SVGDo it in the most convenient moment. Then check the issues, if you do not see the problem, activate the plugins one by one, detecting the issue. If the problem remains to update the plugin and check how it works without plugins again.
1. Make the full backup of your site.
2. Deactivate and delete the current version.
3. Upload the new version from your portfolio on this forum.
4. Upload and install.
Best Regards

JeanneMeierParticipantThank you for getting back to me on this, especially over the holiday weekend.
I have deactivated everything and made sure that everything is updated, but nothing has changed. It will not work, and they have not gotten back in touch with me.

JeanneMeierParticipantWow! That fixed everything! Good eye! I don’t think that’s a place I would have ever looked. Thank you so very much!
