Slider Revolution did not work after update to theme 4.5.0 / slider rev. 6.1.8

hi,

i’ve updated the theme to 4.5.0 and the slider revolution to 6.1.8.

now my slider not working, i see the loading icon only and the theme width did not fit in the boxed layout anymore.

please help 🙂

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated and provide the site admin access to the private area

hi, i’ve deactivated all plugins, after that i reactivated the related plugins and switched to the main theme. same problem. please help me, i activated the maintenance mode now.

and i saw now, that the icons are not showing.

in the top header where the social share icons are and in the footer with the fontawesome icons too .

This is the Slider Revolution bug. We have installed the old version and it works now. Do not update for a while this has been fixed.

the previous version was 6.1.6 or 6.1.7.

what about the missing footer section now?

Missing footer – widget often reset when the theme changes. This is WordPress bug. Please add your widgets again.

We do not know which Slider Revolution version has a bug. 6.1.3 works well.

As for the icons, please save the Theme Settings and clean the cache.

which cache should i clean?

i do not use any cache plugin.

ok, the ican appeared again, now. i only click once the save button in the theme settings, and that worked.

2 of the 4 icons in the footer are not appearing, i do not why. do you have any idea?

Try to enable Font Awesome library in Theme Settings -> Performance to always use on your pages. (not the light version)
