rrafal889ParticipantI am using woodmart “brands” element. When the mega menu expands, you have to wait like 2 seconds to brands images to appear. Is there any chance to speed this up so it is not so laggy? Take a look in private content

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Is there any chance that you could give me access to the dashboard area so I can have a look at the settings on your website, please?

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Please do the step related to the Image optimization here – https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/#Step_3, additionally try to use the Imagify plugin to make the images as webp for better performance.
And then install the cache plugin and adjust it as described here – https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/#Step_4
Let me know the result

rrafal889ParticipantCould you advise about this? “And then install the cache plugin and adjust it as described here – https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/#Step_4”
in number 1 there is “minify css files” checkbox and in excluded files there is url: /wp-content/plugins/some-plugin/(.*).css – and I have a question about the “some-plugin” what should I insert here? Same question to point number 2 with minifying JS files and loading JS deferred.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
It means the path of the plugin’s CSS or JS file. e.g
/wp-content/plugins/wapf-aiu/assets/css/frontend.css
Let me know if you have any questions.
Kind Regards

rrafal889ParticipantHi Luke, could you give me specified recommendation which paths to exclude to solve the issue of slowly loading the menu?

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
It looks like some plugin adds the lazy loading to your images and as a result, they load in such a way. First, please update access to the staging site – https://take.ms/7e2Jq
I look forward to hearing back from you.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Sorry for the delay.
The issue is related to the big sizes of the images, they are heavy (weight more than 80kb) and they are very large (2000х1500). So you need to make them e.g. 150×150 and around 15-20kb.
Kind Regards

rrafal889ParticipantThank you for help 🙂 I resized images and when they take aroundd 20kb each than it works smooth

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Thank you for your message! I’m glad to hear that resizing the images solved the issue. If you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out.
