    Yes, the problem seems to be solved. But my wordpress background loading speed is very slow, like a snail. For example, after I finished editing a product, I wanted to take a look at it from the back end to the front end. The loading speed at this time was really unsightly. Generally speaking, my wordpress became very, very slow.

    Slow upload of product images
    Opening a project in the wordpress menu is slow
    Slow when editing products
    In short, everything becomes as slow as a snail.

    Hello,

    Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?

    Regards

    I didn’t test whether the woodmart theme caused the WordPress backend to slow down because I didn’t know what problems would arise after switching themes.
    1. The new problem that arises now is that I cannot activate the Rank Math Pro plug-in. Every time I activate Rank Math Pro, the system will prompt “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
    2. There are a lot of discussions about the speed of the theme on the Woodmart forum. I do feel that Woodmart is very slow. Whether on a computer or a mobile phone, the loading and opening speed of the Woodmart theme is difficult to satisfy. It is indeed slower than some other themes. Much slower. Moreover, my website is not online yet and does not have any visitors. However, under such circumstances, the woodmart theme feels very slow. It is hard to imagine how slow it will be if the website has more visitors. I sincerely hope you can take this issue seriously and resolve the reasons for the slow speed.

    Hello,

    The problem that may occur when you switch between themes in Appearance -> Themes is that widgets may lose their positions. It is a WordPress behavior and we are not able to fix this in our theme scope.
    As a workaround, you can backup your widgets configurations using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-importer-exporter/

    As for the site speed, you need to test it with the default theme first to see if it is caused by WoodMart or not.

    If RankMath plugin causes some error on your website, you need to consult with the plugin developer.

    To be honest, the Woodmart theme is really good in terms of functionality, but it really falls behind in terms of speed. I have used NASA’s Ellsi theme before and compared it with Woodmart. Woodmart is really slow in terms of speed. I kid you not!
    I recorded a video which you can watch at the link!

    This video will be clearer. Take a closer look to see if the loading speed of the website is very slow.

    The two videos above are wordpress backend manipulation videos.
    You can see how slow it is when operating on the backend! It may not seem slow to you, but I’ve used other themes before that were much faster than this.

    1、This video is a video of the front end of the site in action.
    As you can clearly see the speed is very slow and snail-like

    https://youtu.be/t8Gc_6zG1cA

    I did consult with my server provider, cloudways, and they said that the server load and all aspects are fine. The problem could be in the incompatibility of the theme with the plugins, they specifically stated that WP rocket is not compatible with woodmart.
    But then you guys say that WP rocket is the most compatible caching plugin with the theme, so I don’t know who to believe now!
    My site is so slow now that it’s not even live and I don’t have any visitors. If I get visitors and traffic later, I don’t even know how slow it’s going to be. So I sincerely hope you guys can help me find out the reason for the slow speed of my site!

    Hello,

    Please, test how it works with the default theme too. And record the same video so we can see that there is a huge difference in speed between these themes.

    Kind Regards

    Hey woodmart! I had a detailed chat with the cloudways team, and cloudways clearly stated that the reason for the slowness of the website was the Woodmart theme itself. The following link is the text of the chat record between me and the cloudways team.

    https://cloudways-66a17aabe953.intercom-attachments-1.com/i/o/888579230/3a5b70e918bb0081057b9150/cloudways_2023_11_20_40604172784.txt

    Question 1. Ever since you added the following code to my child theme php file. My wordpress backend has become very slow. I also asked the cloudways team and they confirmed that there is no problem with the server and that all problems are caused by the theme itself.

    add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘woodmart_child_enqueue_styles’, 10010 );
    define(‘WC_MAX_LINKED_VARIATIONS’, 250);
    add_action( ‘woocommerce_single_product_summary’, ‘custom_acf_field_output’, 5 );

    add_action(‘elementor/ajax/register_actions’, function () {
    add_action( ‘woocommerce_ajax_variation_threshold’, ‘__return_zero’, 1000 );
    });

    I have to explain that I did not build the website from scratch, but directly imported the Furniture 2 template that comes with the theme. I don’t know if there is a problem with the template.
    And you can open the front-end of my website and experience for yourself how slow it is to open woocommerce products and categories. It is really slower than a snail!
    You can open my bisiman.com and experience how slow it is to open the product in the store to know that I am not lying to you!

    Hello,

    We understand. But, please, test it with the default theme too, and send us a video comparison. It would help us a lot. Thank you in advance.

    Do I need to prepare anything to test with the default theme? Like a website backup or something?
    Maybe you guys can help me test with the default theme so you have a better visualization of whether it’s slow or not.

    You can either test it on the same website that you performed a test with the theme or create a staging development copy of your current website.

    Hello Woodmart! I have asked Cloudways staff to record a comparison video based on your request.

    1. This is the default theme video of WordPress
    https://www.loom.com/share/93e28fad3f904cfc9496de6fffa5ad52

    2. Both of these videos are Woodmart themed.
    https://www.loom.com/share/12c7aa2966904e2288d6ace1ed33112c

    https://www.loom.com/share/efc32b58a69642a991c6ca90095fbd23

    Through the comparison video above, I can clearly see that the Woodmart theme takes longer to load product pages, store pages, category pages, and other actions.
    I hope you can help me solve the slow loading problem as soon as possible

    Hello,

    Please, clarify a few questions now.

    1. Initially, you were talking about the backend speed. But the video demonstrates the frontend only. So you have problem with frontend?

    2. As we can see from the video, server response time is the same for two themes. So the problem is only on loading resources on the page after server response. Images, JS and CSS files. Is it right?

    Kind Regards

    The reason why the backend is slow is because of the code you added in the theme php file:
    add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘woodmart_child_enqueue_styles’, 10010 );
    define(‘WC_MAX_LINKED_VARIATIONS’, 250);
    add_action( ‘woocommerce_single_product_summary’, ‘custom_acf_field_output’, 5 );

    add_action(‘elementor/ajax/register_actions’, function () {
    add_action( ‘woocommerce_ajax_variation_threshold’, ‘__return_zero’, 1000 );
    });
    Later I deleted these codes and the slow backend problem was solved.

    The problem now is that the front end of the website loads very slowly! Why don’t you want to go to the front end of my website to experience it? My previous problem was that both the backend and frontend of the website were very slow. After I deleted the php code you added, the backend became normal. However, the loading speed of the front-end of the website is still very slow. You can go to the front end of my website and click on the woocommerce product and store pages, and see for yourself whether it is slow or not.

    What I want to say about product pictures is that the size of my product pictures is basically under 150kb. As for JS and CSS, I’m sorry, I don’t understand these.

    Our theme is optimized for speed and should not significantly slow down your website. However, it’s possible that your website’s performance is affected by the content you have added. For instance, the use of too many plugins, large unoptimized images, or other resources can slow down your website.

    We recommend that you remove any unnecessary plugins and install a JS & CSS optimization plugin such as WP Rocket. Our guide on how to optimize your website using our themes can be found here: https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/

    Hello, Wood mart!
    I have only 21 active plugins (including themes) for my site. My server provider Cloudways has checked it for me and the server is currently configured perfectly for the current site. I’ve also installed the WPROCKET caching plugin, Redis object caching, all plugins are up to date, and PHP is version 8.2!
    In my previous reply, I’ve clearly told you that Cloudways has pointed out that it’s the theme itself that’s causing the product pages and store pages to load slowly! Why can’t you help solve the problem?
    I’ve sent you my backend login credentials and even the server login credentials, and the outrageous thing is that you haven’t even gone into the backend of my site to test it or to try to help me figure out if it’s a plugin or Woocommerce that’s causing the problem? All you are very perfunctory, I do not know what you are thinking.
    I would like to scold you, if you can not help me solve the problem, can you ask other competent technical support to help me solve the problem!

    Today I chatted with the staff of cloudways again, and it was 100% confirmed that the CSS and JS of the Woodmart theme slowed down the website. The following is our chat transcript:
