State is not required

Hello, i saw there is a mini problem at checkout. the state field should be required but is not after version 4 update, can you take a look. thank you in advance

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress theme like twentysixteen to understand is it our theme issue or not?

it is present also on your demo! check it out, add a product and then go on checkout page, you will see that state/country is marked as optional, also i attached the image from your demo

I have test the checkout module with the latest version of theme at my test site. The State / County field is still required and we can not complete the checkout process without specifying a state or country.

Could you please deactivate all the third party plugins and check back your site.

well we are missing something here… i check your demo again and i don’t see any required state/region field. you can see by yourself please on the video. btw i already have made test without any plugin, and also on default wordpress theme and nothing was changed…

Actually, it is the default functionality of the Woocommerce plugin, this field has set as optional and required on the country basis. If you change the Country from Greece to any other country like Pakistan then you will see that the state and county field is required field but not for Greece. So if you want to make it required field then you should customize the Woocommerce plugin.

It requires customization to achieve that functionality and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.
