Swatch colors – more than one place?

I just wanted to find out.

Is there more than 1 section of the site swatch colors and swatches can be added to the site?

I currently know of Products – attributes – colors, but is there anywhere else?

I would like to know as I have had customisations done to my site, now the swatches do not match up on the add / edit products pages from the products – attributes and colors fields they ate being retrieved from somewhere else?

Similar to 2 different areas of categories you have products > categories but also another place you can add categories in the dashboard.

I hope this makes sense. So I would like to ask can you add color swatches from another section of dashboard, is there another section for it and if so, where from?
