Template overrides vs Webhooks

I wonder if Xtemos consider to minimize the template files to minimize update problems: https://wptavern.com/woocommerce-3-3-1-released-addresses-template-conflicts

Unfortunately, it is not possible to achieve the layout and functionality as you get with our theme using hooks only. Anyway, we don’t have any problems with updates since we always release a new version at the same time when WooCommerce push their updates.
