shopart24ParticipantHello, the WoodMart theme I purchased in June 21 wont update on my domain WP website?
The website I have using this woodmart theme was built by a developer on his domain/server who used his WoodMart license and now I have migrated on my domain/server I want to use my woodmart license but the theme when trying to update in WordPress says “The link you followed has expired”?
I have downloaded from themeforest.net/downloads the most recent Woodmart installable files but cant get this to work?
Any support on how I can achieve activating my Woodmart purchase would be appreciated!

You need to enter the ThemeForest account and delete the domains that are no more used, activate your license, and try to update again. Please check this manual: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/update-theme-2/

Thank you for getting back to me and the forwarding your content with a tutorial for the exact problem we are facing, however unluckily for us following the instructions` the theme will still not update which is frustrating and was hopping you can assist further?
I have attached a snap of the same error even after trying to update several different times and trying to update from different locations!

Try to do the following to update the theme:
1. Go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme License and deactivate the theme.
2. Go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on Check Again.
3. Activate the theme with your purchase code again.
4. Try to update the theme via Appearance -> Themes or via Dashboard -> Updates.
If it does not help, make the full backup of your site and update via FTP https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/update-theme-2/
If you need help, provide site admin and FTP access inserting them into the private area below the message area.

Most likely your theme was taken from a not authorized source, you will need to reinstall the theme manually: delete the pattern theme folder completely and upload the recent version folder. Then activate the theme and activate the license.

You have provided only user ID and password to Cpanel, what is the login URL? Please note, when the theme files are deleted, some of the settings may be reset, I will do my best to save all, however, I cannot guarantee and sometimes we have to lose some parts of the settings and recreate them to ensure the correct performance of the site.

Firstly thank you very very much for your support its really appreciated as it great to see things almost back to where we were!
I noticed the child theme we had previously is not active, and by installing and activating it my first question is would this be advisable as this was created by the same developer used or would I need to start building the Woodmart child theme currently available again from fresh in Appearances > Themes?
I was hoping that this might be the reason why some functions and alignments are not working as they were previously but I am very please and grateful to see it almost back to where it was!!!
Also, I have quite a few plugins that need re-installing and was wondering if their are any you would not recommend for the theme?
I have a backup of where we were before your re-install the theme and have access to this host as well if needed, link in the private content section below.

You can activate the child theme. If there are any problems, save functions.php separately, then clear the file and add a snippet by snippet checking the site to detect which one causes the problem.
Also, I have quite a few plugins that need re-installing and was wondering if there are any you would not recommend for the theme?
Make the full site backup and install all the plugins you need one by one checking the site to get sure they are all compatible and cause no problems.

I am checking now your site I see that the theme has not been updated.
I have uploaded ZIP and extracted it. I am checking the PHP database to see which URL is inserted in wp-options, and I see that it is the wrong site, there are no wp-tables at all. Please contact the host support and ask them to help you create FTP access for the site we are trying to update.

I noticed there is one database with tables called wwwdigitalshopst_1 so I guess this is what is needed?

You can access the databases and the root files through cpanel?
Can you explain what you are trying to achieve as I may be able to assist but am more happy for you to do this?

I feel you are giving me the wrong CP panel. Please check and provide FTP or CPanel for the site you have the problem with, I have reuploaded the theme folder several times and I still see the old theme version.

If you are saying that you have fully installed the theme here https://cloudwebhostingprovider.com/project1/ and is fully functional from there then that is okay as you can continue working from here and then I can try to export to digitalshopstop.com that eventually will be the live site.

I really cant thank you enough for your support, however maybe just one more thing to fix if possible!
I can see you have installed the child theme, however I have now activated it and am not getting the styles or tables to work as exampled below:
