    Hello,

To enable the theme editor, follow these steps:

    1. Go to Appearance, select one theme (anyone you like) and activate it.
    2. In this activated theme, go to Appearance → Editor → select the theme to edit (on the top right, above Templates. There is a drop-down click on it and select your previous theme.)
    3. Now select config.php or demo config.php and remove the define ( ‘DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT, true); code.
    4. Now click on the Update file.
    5. Now change the theme to your previous theme.

Now you can find your editor in the Appearance drop-down.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

Yes, I have tried to activate the Theme Editor from the wp0config file but it is not working. So I need FTP account to set the site.

Please help me enable the theme editor again, thanks

    #410833

    Hello,

    Sorry for the earlier inconvenience.

Actually, it was a third party Plugin conflict on your Site. A third party Plugin named “SiteGround Security” was causing the conflict, when we deactivate that the Theme File Editor option was showing fine: https://ibb.co/XLvdgXT

So, it is a third party Plugin issue not an issue at the Theme level.

    Best Regards

Thank you very much for your assistance
Looks like the theme editor is working fine

I need code to install google tag manager, where are the <head> and <body> tags of the page, can you tell me the path?

“SiteGround Security” has been disabled and I will no longer use it

But I want to activate the third-party plugin “SiteGround Optimizer” again, will it still conflict?
If there is a conflict, I will not activate “SiteGround Optimizer” again.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

The following Theme file header.php contains the <head> and <body> tags. Here is the path to that:

    wp-content/themes/woodmart/header.php

SiteGround Optimizer might not conflict but its conflict depends upon the situation you are facing. For some issues, it conflicts and for some it doesn’t. So, right now if you want, you can activate it.

    Best Regards

Thank you very much for your assistance

Path: wp-content/themes/woodmart/header.php is the File Manager in siteground, right?

I am using a woodmart child now, will it be a problem if I add the google analytics code to the <head> of wp-content/themes/woodmart/header.php.

    Best Regards

Hello, please check if it is correct,

    #411173

    Hello,

The Theme file location that we told you, about can be accessed via the WP File Manager plugin installed on your WP-ADMIN or you can access this Theme file location through your CPANEL > File Manager.

Regarding the Google Analytics code, if it is correctly added or not, you need to take assistance from the said third-party Plugin of which the code you are using.

Further, here is an Article bearing a detailed Guide regarding Google Analytics and its usage. Please check this: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-install-google-analytics-in-wordpress/

Note: It is not an official Guide from the Theme end but a Guide that would help you understand Google Analytics.

    Hope this helps!

    Best Regards

Thank you very much for helping solve the problem

    i have another question
I’m using PageSpeed Insights to diagnose performance issues
Very low numbers for diagnostic performance issues on mobile and desktop
The number of mobile phone diagnosis performance problems is only: 10
The number of computer diagnostic performance problems is only: 16
Can you help me how to solve it

    Hello,

In general, our theme is already optimized and doesn’t have too many resources to make your website slow. Most likely, your website performance suffers from the content you have added to your website. It may happen in case of too many plugins, large not optimized images, or other resources. So we suggest you remove unnecessary plugins, and install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like WP Rocket. You can find our guide about how to optimize your website built with our themes here https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/

    Kind Regards

“SiteGround Security” and “SiteGround Optimizer”, I removed both plugins. Will these two plugins linger data and cause the site to slow down?

    #411573

    Hello,

Actually, as you know the Theme is already Optimized enough with the default resources and for further better Optimization performance, we had already given you the Article to check and follow: https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/

So, you can follow the Steps there to increase your Site Speed and overall Performance.

Regarding the SiteGround plugins, they can actually make the Site slow down a bit and you had seen earlier too that one of them was causing the conflict in terms of Theme File Editor option too. So, we would suggest you remove them from your Site and try to optimize the Site by following the defined Steps under the Article.

Hope this clears the doubt !

    Best Regards
