Theme moving very slow ( big loading time )

Hello!

Could you please help me with a problem I have regarding speed on website we just installed using Woodmart? The link to the site is: divaniesofa.ro and the mail problem is that overall loading page speed time is very high ( sometimes around 10s ). Can you give us some pointers as to what can we do to reduce that?

In general, our theme is already optimized and don’t have too many resources to make your website slow. Most likely, your website performance suffers from the content you have added to your website. It may happen in case of too many plugins, large not optimized images or other resources. So we suggest you to remove unnecessary plugins, install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like Better WordPress Minify and a caching plugin like WP Super Cache or use WP Rocket for both tasks. Also, you can use GTmetrix tool to see what makes your website slow and optimize these parts of your website.

I’ll try to install the recommended plugins and remove the one that potentially creates the slowdown. Also, dev tools in chrome give me a warning about excessive DOM size ( about 3000 elements ). Do any of the plugins recommended touch on that issue or do you have any recommendation on dealing with that problem?

The number of DOM elements increases when you add more elements to the page. So as a long page you have as many elements you get. But it is not the main problem.
