I have received an email telling me that you have a new updat of the them. However, I did not receive any update notification inside wordpress neither via Appearance -> Themes or via Dashboard -> Updates.
Is this normal? If not, how should I get this update then? I believe that reinstalling the zip file that I have downloaded from themeforest will override everything on my website.
Make sure that you have activated the theme with your purchase code as per our article https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/update-theme-2/
Also, try to go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on the “Check again” button. Then you should be able to update to the latest version via Appearance -> Themes.
