Translate HTML Blocks for product tabs

Hi there,

We’ve added a shortcode for a HTML block under ‘Theme Options > Product Page > Tabs’. We’ve translated this HTML block, which automatically gives it another ID. We then translated this through ‘String Translation’ in WPML. However, this isn’t working. In the mainlanguage the content of the HTML Block is showing, but in all other languages, it just turns up empty.

Could you elaborate on how we can translate the HTML Blocks for product tabs?

Hello,

You need to create two HTML blocks: one for the default language and one for translation, if you have more languages you will need to create as many HTML blocks as many languages are.

Then, navigate to WPML > String Translation > Choose the admin_text_woodmart_option from the dropdown and find the title and the content block http://prntscr.com/lx5qpz

As you can read in my first post, this is exactly what we’ve done. The HTML blocks are not showing up in any language except the main language.

Please provide your site admin access and HTML blocks IDs both initial and translation, also specify the Theme Settings place where you apply.

First of all, please remove all your customization into the child theme and update, we do not provide support on out-to dated theme version. The reason is that we usually fix most of the problems in the new versions and updating the theme solves the issues automatically.

As for the HTML blocks: you have created the translations of the HTML blocks http://prntscr.com/pvx5mx Remove all them into NL default language. Just create Downloads_DE/Dowloads_EN etc. and then insert the shortcodes as you have done.
