Hi!

I just downloaded Basel theme and I need to translate it into Russian and install. I’m totally new to WordPress so could you please send me very detailed instructions on how to translate and install it?

After I started to install required plugins and clicked “activate” next to one of them, my admin panel stopped working (please check attached screenshot) and I can’t bring it back.

What went wrong and what shall I do?

Try to reinstall CMB2 plugin. Can you now enter the admin panel? You can delete it via FTP and install again.

Enter your site via FTP, you should see these folders: http://prntscr.com/ktyzrh

Navigate to wp-content /wp-content/plugins http://prntscr.com/ktz0fk

Right-click and rename or delete http://prntscr.com/ktz0r2

Then try to install again.

Navigate to Basel > Base Import http://prntscr.com/ku0qru

Upload Base version, next chose the demo on the right http://prntscr.com/ku0r3c

Check Theme settings > Other > Show Dummy Content link in admin menu > “On”

I have two questions:

1) When I tried to translate Basel theme into Russian with Loco Translate according to the video that you sent me before (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3NsDdMzsls&list=PLMw6W4rAaOgKKv0oexGHzpWBg1imvrval&index=3 ) nothing was translated automatically (please check attachment)

I manually translated 3 words, so now it shows that 1501 lines out of 1504 lines are not translated.

What shall I do?

2) Can you please send me good tutorials on how to start working with Basel theme? I never worked with WordPress before and need some education .

WPBakery Page Builder and Revolution slider come bundled with our theme but they can’t be activated with our purchase code. Actually, you don’t need to do this. Only in case you want to get free premium support from its author, you can purchase it from Codecanyon. But it is not necessary since we will always provide you with the latest updates.

In order to enable WPBakery Page Builder on posts/products ect navigate to WPBakery Page Builder > Roles > set “Custom” and emable all you need: http://prntscr.com/kvuz3k

In order to display products in a page, use Product Grid element http://prntscr.com/kvuzos
