Transparent Header

in Basel theme food homepage the Header is transparent where you can see the slider’s background in the background of the header. but when you scroll down it goes black. how can I create this.

If you want to make transparent and black header only on the home page, you configure it in the page locally http://prntscr.com/lqxs9d

In order to configure it globally, navigate to the Theme Settings > Header > Appearance > choose “Light” in Header text color and then set “Header above the content” in the Theme Settings > Header > Layout.

the header I have chosen does not give me the option for HEADER ABOVE CONTENT. Also when I choose the light version it shows the old BASEL AND CO logo not my UNIBUDDIE ONE.

hi there thanks for this, there are something else i would like help with. When a user adds a product to the cart by clicking add to cart button, it redirects the page to the cart. It should just add the product to the cart and the user should still be on the same page. I have been ;looking around but cannot seem to fix this.
also whenever i try to edit a page from backend it used the default wordpress page editor and not wpbakery. can you please have a look at this.

1. Navigate to Woocommerce > Settings > Product tab and disable “Redirect to the cart page after successful addition”

hi there i have changed my header lay out to vertical one and for some reason the content on the home page appears to have been stretched behind the vertical header and I cannot see why that is.
Can you please have a look.

its the promo banners and the slider rev thats causing the issue. other elements seem to have resized without a problem

I deactivated the plugins and yet it still did not work.
I tried to do it with custome css on google chrome dev tools where it worked however when I bring the code across to WordPress it does not work.
When I Change the type of header all of the pages resize and position fine except those 4 elements. Can you please have a look and maybe give me a custom css to fix this so when in future I change the theme or any other changes all those elements change respectively. And I don’t face this issue again.

hi there the promo banner has been fixed as per the advised solution.
how ever both of the slider revolution still cannot be fixed for some reason. even though i have changed the stretch to default. Please help me fix this

I have the same issue with the Basel logo.
I get the basel logo instead of the logo i uploaded when i choose:
Header text color=light (which i need for my transparant header.

sorry i found it. now i know for what ‘Logo image – white’ is 🙂
