Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Navigate to Products > Attributes > Select the attribute you want to configure and click Configure Terms, and disable the swatch type.

sl55hansenParticipantIt did not work with another plugin eiter.
Then i need help to fix this.
I have a product with 3 colors, blue, black and red.
I have all sizes from xs to 8xl, but only black has all, red has xs to 6xl and blue has xs to 3xl.
I need the functiuon to work, so when people first choose red T-shirt, then it will be an X over the choices 7xl and 8xl so they cant choose those sizes.
It is not so smooth to choose a size, and then 2 seconds later get a error message that combination do not excist..April 21, 2025 at 3:46 pm #655612
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Maybe you are talking about the disabled swatch style? If yes, navigate to Products > Attributes > edit attribute > Choose the disabled swatch style.
So, you need to have the variant of the Product not checked with the Enable option on it, and then the Disabled Swatch style will work accordingly for variations.

sl55hansenParticipantThx, but that did not work either as you can see in screenshots.
Also.. The variations not possible do not excist, so no need to turn them inactive, i deleted them.Attachments:

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
You need to increase the “AJAX variation threshold” option in Theme Settings > Shop > Variable products: https://prnt.sc/x_BOGCelUZQ7 (set the max value). Then check back on your site and check the issue.

sl55hansenParticipantThx. That worked! I set it to max 500, that is not too much?

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
It defines how many variations of a product will load initially. If a product has more variations than specified in the option, it will load via AJAX. https://gyazo.com/11ddf67a9d8c4d28de3c88163f847bf7
When variations load via AJAX, the Disabled swatch functionality does not work. Therefore, you need to increase the value of the AJAX variation threshold option, and everything will work. Try to set the value 100 and check the issue.
Best Regards,
