RichardTRCParticipantI’ve searched elsewhere for this but coming up with nothing. I realise this isnt strictly related to woodmart but i would appreciate some advice.
I have a marketplace with both products and services. The woocommerce Shop page is set to the Products page, and the filters and product list etc work fine. But i would also like to have a second shop page for the Services.
The issue is that whenever i attempt to configure this page all the filters etc link back to the Products page (because thats set as my Shop page in woocommerce).
How would it be possible to have a second page in the same style as the original Shop page?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Thank you very much for choosing our theme and for contacting us.
I would suggest you considering Portfolio items as services and the Portfolio page as the “shop page” Portfolio is a custom type post provided by woodmart.
You can vie a demo here: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/portfolio/ and https://woodmart.xtemos.com/portfolio/?opt=portfolio_alternative
And single Project: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/blog/portfolio/potenti-parturient-parturie/ and
https://woodmart.xtemos.com/blog/portfolio/rhoncus-quisque-sollicitudin/In order to get the order for the service, you can use a contact form added to the single Portfolio
If this way is workable and you need further help, let me know.
Best Regards

RichardTRCParticipantHi! Many thanks for your response but i don’t think that will be suitable for this project 🙁 Both the products and services pages should be styled the same/very similarly.
All I would like to do is be able to have the shop template applied to an additional page which only shows the services category. Is this not possible? I have tried using WOOF (woocommerce filter), it works but it causes 10sec page loads.
Alternatively; is there a way I can hide the product categories when inside the services categories? (and vice versa)

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Sure, you can create a page, insert the Product Grid element and show the products from this category only: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/product-grid-carousel-element/
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

RichardTRCParticipantThanks but yes i know that is possible, the problem is that filters do not work on pages which are not shop pages. If i add shop filter widget sidebar then select a filter it will send me back to the Shop page. This is the problem i described in my first message (3rd paragraph). 🙁

RichardTRCParticipantI have done this but when filtering it still takes me back to the Shop page instead of my custom page :/

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Yes, this is the way it works. These filters are based on Woocommerce functionality.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

RichardTRCParticipantThanks for your responses but this is exactly what i was asking in my first comment..
The issue is that whenever i attempt to configure this page all the filters etc link back to the Products page (because thats set as my Shop page in woocommerce).
I need to be able to show products with filters on a non-shop page.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Unfortunately, it is not possible, the filter shows the result on the category/shop page.

RichardTRCParticipantThanks for clarifying. And no workaround exists?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I am afraid it cannot be changed for now.
