Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Make sure you have synchronized the translation after saving.
Best Regards

iRiDiuMParticipantI CANT FIND this string on my PO files, cant understand your answer.
April 13, 2018 at 11:12 am #52362
Artem TemosKeymasterWe meant that you need to edit your translation in Dashboard -> Loco Translate -> Themes -> WoodMart and click on “Sync” button to actualize all texts. If it will not help, please, provide us your admin access so we can check it.

iRiDiuMParticipantIm using POEDIT, didnt want to install Locotranslate
Normally i translate all my text from PO files.
April 16, 2018 at 9:56 am #52703
Artem TemosKeymasterIn this case, you need to take the file
languages/woodmart.pot
and translate it with POEDIT. Be sure that you have the latest version of our theme and this translation file.April 19, 2018 at 3:18 pm #53436
iRiDiuMParticipantWhat means your .POT file has updated?
I have to translate again? starting of zero?
Thanks, ill check new version
April 19, 2018 at 7:31 pm #53468
Artem TemosKeymasterSorry, we don’t know how to update it with Poedit. If you are using Loco Translate plugin you can simply click on “Sync” button to update.

remmpParticipantHello Artem Temos,
I’m facing the same issue here and have no clue how to fix it.
This is my biggest concern before buying this theme, so I tried researching your video here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/translation/However, after replicating and double-checking all the steps, my site @ https://remminhphat.vn/ still shows 100% English (I translated a few phrases to see how it would behaved)
I attached some screenshot FYI.

Eric WatsonParticipantHello @remmp,
Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your FTP access so we can check it?
Thank you in advance

remmpParticipantHi Eric,
I don’t know why there was no email notification. Sorry for the late reply.
I disabled Loco translate since it’s the only not required plugin. BTW, I enabled English interface for your ease of reading. My site has only 2 languages: English and “the other” and I need to use the later one.

Eric WatsonParticipantHello @remmp,
You FTP access is not valid please check and provide workable credentials.

vikktorParticipantHello, I’m also using PO/MO files and I translated almost everything, but it looks like “SKU” string isn’t being translated although there are 2 strings “SKU” in PO file which I already translated.
Can you confirm this is a bug?
Thanks!
May 3, 2018 at 1:14 pm #55842
Eric WatsonParticipantHello @vikktor,
Which line are you trying to translate? Please provide a screenshot.
Kind Regards

vikktorParticipantHello and thanks!
I’m trying to translate “SKU” line.
May 3, 2018 at 1:41 pm #55854
Eric WatsonParticipantThis line refers to the translation of the Woocommerce plugin.

vikktorParticipantOk, I have now translated it in Woocommerce .po file, wasn’t aware that part was using woocommerce translation.
Thanks Eric!

Eric WatsonParticipantHello @remmp,
Sorry for the delay, try to add the following PHP code snippet to the child theme functions.php file and set your translated string in this code
function woodmart_read_more_tag() { return '<a class="btn-read-more more-link" href="' . get_permalink() . '">' . esc_html__('Continue reading', 'woodmart') . '</a>'; }
Kind Regards
XTemos StudioMay 9, 2018 at 4:40 am #56683
remmpParticipantHi Eric,
My problem still persists, so I have to ask you again.
After adding the code snippet you provided, unfortunately, the string didn’t change. I tried to replicate the steps in both xtemos guide and Loco translate’s Beginner’s guide with no progress.
Besides, although WooCommerce has been fully translated into my language, my shop still shows only English. This doesn’t happen to my friend’s site.
Now I’m totally lost 😀 What should I do?
May 9, 2018 at 7:45 am #56702
Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
You need to activate the child theme first. And you have to disable this plugin to see the changes http://prntscr.com/jflkbx
