Update of theme without to loose customizations on parent theme

    Hi,

    Your amazing theme have some nice new features 💖, but to get them I need to update the theme. This is not normally possible because I made customizations on the theme so I use the parent theme or child theme (my developer call it that way).

    I’m sure this is now a silly question for you, but I do not understand as much of the matter:

    Is it possible to update the theme and then make the customizations on the newest theme, or not? Or do I have to use the old theme (my current one) to make adjustments?

    My customization is just in the product page, the description is above the normal item informations.

    Hello,

    You can lose this modification. Please save the file which you have modified to get this layout, update the theme, and then replace the file again. Do this each time when you update.

    Make the full backup of your site in any case.
