Please make the full backup of your site and update the WordPress and Woocommerce. Basel would not cause any problems, however, if you have additional plugins they may cause the problem.
As soon as you update the Woocommerce you may have a notification to update the theme templates, you can ignore this message, the theme would work properly as well as all the Woocommerce functionality, and the templates would be updated with the next theme release.
