Update to v 7.0 has crashed entire site

After im trying to update via ftp method to version 7 i got this error!

This site has down for couple of minutes but thanks the god i was had a backup and restore it. What it causes this error?

We do hope you have made the full backup of your site as recommended in our documentation. Please restore the site from the backup, clone your site and move to the staging platform, we will update the site on testing platform and then you will update your live site.

It’s kinda hard to complete by this way the update cause my cpanel does not have any staging feature like hostinger etc. So just one copy to another subfolder or subdomain will be anough for you to apply the update?

You would better contact the host support on this issue.

Different hosts have different procedures and we are not aware of the process flow on your host.

Please find out if there is any automatic update, if there is, try to restore the site.
