UPDATING TEMPLATE TO A NEW VERSION

we’ve taken over a customer who uses your template, purchased a new license (because someone deleted it), and updated the template. The last update of the template was 2.10.1. When we update the template, the page crashes completely. The error is shown below.
We would ask for help! How can we solve the problem with the template, please if you can help us give some advice, we would you be very grateful?Thank you very much in advance!

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
This error seems to be caused by the custom code in the child theme. Try to disable it completely when updating the theme. Also, read our migrations guide to 4.0 and 5.0. Note that since you are running a very old version of the theme, you may lose all Theme Settings so you will need to reconfigure it.
