Using the search

Hiya, I’d like to use the header search function to search any item on the website. I’ve ticked the setting to use Relevanssi and built an index specifying what types of things to search.

But, when I’m on a non-Woocommerce page it displays “Search for posts” and doesn’t search other things. Similarly on the Woocommerce pages it says “Search for products” and doesn’t search other things.

What setting will allow users to search for any items in the Relevanssi index from any page?

Relevanssi with our theme work with the Ajax search.

While the search on WooCommerce pages is controlled by WooCommerce and on posts controlled by WordPress.

You can try asking the Relevanssi plugin for help because this is out of our theme support scope.
