variation swatches plugin compatibility

we would like to use this plugin:

only because of one special feature as described:
Generally, WooCommerce variable product changes variation image when all available attribute variations are selected. The first time, in the WooCommerce Variation Swatches plugin history, we brought this to change the gallery image, selecting a single attribute variation. You don’t need to match the entire attribute variation.
can we use it beside the theme feature “Additional variations images” ?
much better would be a filter. is there any solution?

the default woocommerce behavior is insufficient, you have to select all atributes to change the images…

do you have any section in your blog, where users can post a “wishlist” for upcoming features and updates?
you just released version 6.5 with many nice updates.
but i still missing one key feature on variable products:
it should be possible to change the variation image gallery by choosing just ONE attribute.
thats very important if you have different colors. the default woocommerce behavior to select all attributes just sucks. i didn’t find many themes with this feature on board. i think it would be a huge impact for customers and a unique selling point for your theme. there are some plugins to do that, but most of them are overloaded or not compatible with your theme.
