Video Blog Post

I am wanting to make blog post. I want the post to have a feature image show on the main blog page like so: http://shawngray.tv/blog/ (SELECT COMPARE AND DESPAIR)http://shawngray.tv/compare-and-despair/ Then when you click in I want the feature image to be gone and just the video to be there in it’s place. Is there a way to accomplish this? I tried adding code to remove the feature image on the single blog page but when I added video on the post it sandwiched it between the title and the paragraph text. I need the picture to be at the very top just like the feature image. I hope you can help.

Thank you so much purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.

Currently, our theme doesn’t provide such ability. But since it is a very good idea we would be glad to implement some simple custom solution for you. And probably add this feature to our theme core in the future. So here are what we need

1. Are your videos will be hosted on YouTube?

2. Set up and activate a child theme.

3. Provide your admin access and FTP credentials so we could perform some code changes.

Ok, now you are able to insert Vimeo video link and set your post format to be video 🙂
